Sales Engineer, Hughes Machinery
Graduated in 1983 from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Architectural Engineering and a Bachelor Degree in Environmental Design. Tim has spent 26 years with Hughes Machinery Company as a Sales Engineering/Manager designing and selling steam systems, boiler rooms and heat transfer equipment. From 2005 through 2012 Tim has served as President for Hughes Machinery with a primary focus on their Capital Equipment Division. In October of 2012, Tim left Hughes Machinery and started his own consulting business focusing on boiler/energy recovery training and boiler room energy audits. Tim is now back at Hughes Machinery with an outside sales position. He remains active in ASHRAE (Past President of the Kansas City Chapter) and developing programs and material for their new training facility located in Lenexa, KS.

In our hot water boiler presentation we’ll talk about low mass boilers and the problems we’ve encountered when we incorporate them into traditional hot water systems.
