Topic of Discussion

In our hot water boiler presentation we’ll talk about low mass boilers and the problems we’ve encountered when we incorporate them into traditional hot water systems.  We’ll further discuss issues we’ve seen with primary secondary and variable primary systems.  How combustion and turndown can impact the overall efficiency of a system.

Finally we’ll discuss newer approaches such as:

  • Adding buffer tanks into the system to add mass
  • Domestic hot water priority
  • Hybrid systems - using condensing and non-condensing boilers
  • Controls and Sequencing
  • Condensate drain lines and acid neutralization

Please RSVP at by Friday, September 5th @ Noon.

Fees are $25 for those who RSVP by deadline and $30.00 at the door.
