Panel Discussion

Public Private Partnerships

Moderator: Eric Danielson

There has been a lot of news regarding Public-Private-Partnership construction arrangements. A public-private partnership or P3 is an arrangement between a governmental body and a private entity. The goal of the partnership is to provide public benefit, either an asset or a service with the private entity designing, building and financing the project. This has been happening nationwide and now locally with some high-profile projects in Kansas City and the surrounding area. Please join us for a panel discussion to gain insight from industry experts regarding their experience with Public-Private-Partnerships.

Our panel will provide diverse perspectives on this project delivery method. We will hear from an investment viewpoint, a legal viewpoint, a public/municipal viewpoint and the contracting viewpoint. Our esteemed panel will be moderated by Eric Danielson. Eric is the Director of Science and Tech. at JE Dunn and his voice may sound familiar to some as he is the In-Game Public Address Announcer for the University of Kansas at Allen Field House.

We hope you will gain a better understanding of the relationships among the different entities and how to better navigate the P3 process.

Please RSVP at www.kcashrae.org by Thursday, Feb 1st.

Fees are $25 for those who RSVP by deadline and $30.00 at the door.
